So kudos to our Cumaru Folding Rope Footstool, which brings that classic Nags Head Hammocks look and feel to your oft-forgotten feet. If you can’t hear them saying thank you, that’s likely because you yourself are too busy loudly sighing in reclining contentment.

Our Cumaru Folding Rope Footstool’s hand-woven top is available in your choice of two synthetic-rope styles, Soft-Spun Polyester or DuraCord® Technology, both made for prolonged weather exposure and resistant to rot, mold and mildew, yet with a softness that rivals cotton. DuraCord® Technology also has the added distinction of being incredibly resistant to abrasion, staining and fading — in fact, there’s no more colorfast rope on the market today.

The wood frame to this folding footstool is a toasted almond-brown Brazilian Teak Cumaru that’s been sanded to a soft finish. Hardware is stainless-steel, for superior rust protection.

Despite the advanced weatherability of a Nags Head Hammocks product, we do always recommend storing it in an enclosed dry place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife during prolonged bad weather and periods when it’s going unused, to ensure its longest possible life.
